From In The Game:
Dr. Brian Price of In The Game Trading Cards has joined the blogosphere and is now blogging about his experiences in the business as well as announcing news items. The blog can be found at prezsez.wordpress.com.
The most recent news which Dr. Price blogged about is:
“Everyone wanted me to wait and make this announcement in our next Newsletter but that’s what a BLOG is for, to create up to the minute information. Now for the news, In The Game is pleased to announce the signing of Steve Yzerman to the In The Game team.
I have always enjoyed our relationship with Steve and it’s great to have him in our products again this year. The first product Steve will appear in will be UM-10 including autographs and memorabilia.
Tretiak in goal, Lemieux, Yzerman, Messier up front, In The Game is going to be putting a great team forward for the 2010-11 season.”
Also from Dr. Price’s Blog:
Collectors at Canada Card World and beyond have all been waiting to hear more about ITGs Enshrined, so now we have the scoop!
“Just wanted to give my Blog followers a little insight about In The Game – Enshrined. This product celebrates the men and soon to be women who have been honored by induction in the Hockey Hall of Fame. The product will feature one autograph card or limited memorabilia card or cut signature card and three premium base cards.
The autograph cards will be hard signed, the memorabilia cards will be extremely limited and the cut signatures will be the best we have ever produced.
In my humble opinion (I can do that on my own Blog) no other card company could produce this product. It has taken years to accumulate the authentic game-used memorabilia and establish the relationships with the Hall of Famers.
I am excited about this product and I hope you will be as well.
A Release Date has not been determined as we have to collect the hard signed autographs. A price point has also not been determined as we factor our costs. Both pieces of information should be available soon. The product will be very limited. If you collect Rookies, forget this one but if you collect Hall of Famers, this one’s for you.”
